Yesterday, my clients and I braved the weather for 6 hours and had an incredible day. We boated 17 fish and lost 3 or 4 others. Out of the 17 fish, only two were under 4 lbs. Our best eight fish (all over 6 lbs) would top 56 lbs. Our 5 biggest weighed 8-06, 8-00, 7-11, 6-15, and 6-14. All of these fish were in less than 4 ft of water and the water temps were 58-59 degrees. Soft plastics fished slowly was the ticket.
It’s unfortunate that we had to have this major front, because things had really heated up here on Lake Fork the past several days with lots of fish over 7 lbs being caught.
