Guide Tony Clark Fishing Report 8/19/2007

The Lake Fork Water is stained at this time and water temp is hovering at 87 degrees. The bass are biting on trick worm and texas rig in the grass and on 1/4oz Shaky Heads in 10′ to 20′ of water. Wacky rigged worms early and late shallow.

We have had many bass in the 4 to 8lb range on main lake points with hydrilla and shallow humps with standing timber where 20′ of water comes up to 9-12′.

Chart/pumpkin, sour grape and watermelon candy are the most productive colors right now. With these days getting shorter the small schooling bass are getting better and better.
